Day 9 - Assembly Line

The last few nights I have spent assembling. I would take a picture, but I think you probably get the idea.

Now here's the thing, I hate assembling, I hate gluing, I detest taking off mold lines. I would happily pay extra for GW to provide the models assembled and undercoated, ready to brush.

Blasphemy I know, but the truth none the less.

Anyway, I am nearly through my batch of dwarf warriors and getting ready to move on to some quarellers and an organ gun.

I think my wife has discovered my new batch of warriors, and frankly her looks suggest that what ever support or respect I had for my pasttime are now out the window.

On a plus side, I sourced some new dice today, I wont give it away, but they are purty dice.

  1. I stumbled upon your blog while googling for "Electronic Dice". I am amazed that my search can only take me to stupid elementary electronic projects for kids, or a single die which you can only slam on one side on a table.

Twenty years ago I have seen a nifty looking tiny gadget where you push a button and get two random readings of a dual dice. I recently asked my friend about where he bought it. He seems to have lost the gadget and forgotten all about it.

I am sick of my backgammon opponents who can get the reading they want by rolling a pair of ordinary dice. Rolling the dice from a cup is too much for them. So, I thought of unbiased electronic dice.

If you know where I can buy electronic dice, operated by rolling or pushing a button, I would be grateful if you drop me a line:
